AGGIE DEFENDERS - LEVEL ONE

FADE IN:

It’s game day in Aggieland and the Aggies are playing the Texas University (TU) Longhorns(ssssssss). The crowd is going wild and sings the Aggie War hymn within the great stadium walls of Kyle Field to support Reveille as she leads the Fighting Texas Aggie football team in their game against the evil Longhorns.

DESTROY LONGHORN INVADERS

Reveille, the Queen of Aggieland hurls footballs in order to destroy the evil Longhorn invaders.

The player acts as Reveille going left and right, all over the field at the bottom of the screen, in order to defeat the Longhorns before they advance to the bottom of the screen and prevent the Aggies from making a first down.

THE PLAYER must line up with the Longhorns and press the SPACE button in order to cause Reveille to launch a twirling football in the air.

If the football makes contact with a Longhorn the Longhorn will explode and disappear off the screen.

Sadly, if Reveille’s aim is off and she misses a wicked Longhorn invader the Longhorn will remain on the screen and Reveille will not be able to launch another football until the previous football has exited the screen.

If the player fails to make the first down (eliminating all of the Longhorns) then the wicked Longhorns have held Reveille to four downs.

GAME OVER.

DEFEATING THE INVADERS

If a player saws off the horns of all the wicked Longhorns, which means hitting them with twirling footballs Reveille launches causing them to explode, the player will succeed and continue on to the next level.

LEVEL ONE COMPLETED

Congratulations, you won! It’s another great day in Aggieland since you lead the Ags to another victory and BTHOtu.
